Safely allows calling the hashlib.md5 function when usedforsecurity is disabled in the configuration.

Parameters:

__string (_typeshed.ReadableBuffer) – The data to hash. Default to empty str byte.

Returns:

The hashed value.

Return type:

hashlib._Hash
